From their website, In 1997, Community Care Ministries was born with a purpose to meet four goals as a non-profit with the help of dedicated employees and an army of volunteers. The first goal is to provide food to help stamp out food insecurity in local households. The second goal is to provide financial resources to help people prevent their eviction or utilities shut-off, so they can stay secure in their homes.
The third goal is to provide an outlet for people in our community to shop quality used household items and clothing at reasonable prices.
The fourth goal of service came about after requests from the community for volunteer opportunities for school, scouting, court ordered service, or for God’s obedience. After 25 years, we continue to work toward each of these goals on a daily basis and give God all of the glory.
