Machine Falls in Tullahoma TN is a beautiful hiking trail in the Short Springs park that takes you to a breathtaking waterfall.

Be aware that parking is limited and you can get towed if you park in a no parking area.  If you go there during a warm day, plan to cool down in the water when you reach the waterfall.  The hike from the entrance to the park is approximately 1.6 miles and generally is considered a moderate hiking trail.  

The path is all covered by trees and woods -- and generally narrow-ish.

And once you arrive to Machine Falls, you can view it from a ledge about half way up, at the top or from down below.  The path itself is dog friendly (with a leash of course).

You can view Machine Falls from a few viewing areas above waterfall -- both a path at the top of the Machine Falls as well as an observation platform, and some rocks on the way down like the below photo.
