The Spann House Trail is a 3.8-mile loop trail located in Tims Ford State Park in Winchester, Tennessee. The trail winds through hardwood forests and rolling hills, offering stunning views of Tims Ford Lake. The trail is named for the Spann family, who once owned the land on which the trail is located.

The Spann family first settled in the area in the early 1800s. The family patriarch, William Spann, was a farmer and a blacksmith. He built a log cabin on the property in 1820, and the family lived there for many years. The cabin was eventually replaced by a larger house, which was built in the late 1800s. The Spann family lived in the house until the 1950s, when they sold the property to the state of Tennessee.

The Spann House was eventually demolished, but the trail that bears the family's name remains. The trail is a popular destination for hikers, runners, and nature lovers. It is a great place to enjoy the beauty of the natural world and learn about the history of the area.
