Finding Fireworks by Tims Ford Lake
 

We're fortunate that many of the cities around Tims Ford Lake have fireworks shows on 4th of July.  There are a few housing developments around the Tims Ford Lake that also provide fireworks.

Fireworks History

The earliest fireworks came from China during the Song dynasty (960–1279).  Fireworks often used to accompany many celebrations and festivities.  Over the years, the art and science of firework making has developed into an independent profession. Fireworks continue to advance from throwing bamboo into a fire (waiting for the crack) to using gunpowder and different chemicals to create colorful explosions in the air.

Where to Find Tims Ford Lake Fireworks?

Historically many of the cities by Tims Ford Lake provide Fireworks. You can look in the Tims Ford Lake Community Calendar to find the upcoming events including fireworks.

Lynchburg TN Fireworks

 Lynchburg TN often displays over the James River.  You can check out the Lynchburg website for updates as the time becomes closer.

Winchester TN Fireworks

The Winchester TN fireworks are generally the same as Tims Ford Lake Fireworks and are launched often by Twin Creeks Resort over the water on Tims Ford Lake.  Many people watch the Winchester fireworks from water side of the Winchester City Park which is by the Winchester Bass Club.

Decherd TN Fireworks

The Decherd TN fireworks held their inaugural year in 2022. We hope they continue to have fireworks in Decherd TN in the future. Decherd is located just a few miles from Winchester.

Tullahoma TN Fireworks

Tullahoma TN Fireworks are on or around July 4.
