Popular Tims Ford Restaurants On the Water   

There are well over 100 restaurants within easy driving distance from Tims Ford Lake .  These restaurants vary from fast food and quick service to an elegant and delicious sit down meal.  Some restaurants offer an opportunity to sit on a table with lake views of the Tims Ford Lake.  Restaurant types include both general American and southern along with a variety of ethnic delicacies.

Restaurants With Lake Views

There are four Tims Ford Restaurants with lake views on Tims Ford Lake.  Unfortunately none of these restaurants will take a reservation and they can get popular during the summer month weekends.

• Drafts and Watercrafts

  • Drafts and Watercrafts is a restaurant with lake views and one of the more popular areas.  It has a great view of the lake, and offers meals for lunch and dinner .  It is part of the Twin Creeks marina and close to downtown Winchester. 
    
     

• Blue Gill Grill

  • Blue Gill Grill is part of Holiday Landing Marina and also has a private dock like Twin Creeks for having lunch and dinner. This is close to Tims Ford State Park and has lake views as well. It is in a small cove where the restaurant looks out over the water. You can see many fish by the restaurant hoping someone will throw a French fry or two in the water. But no fishing there.
    
     

• Hard Dock Cafe

  • Hard Dock Cafe is part of Tims Ford Marina and has a lake view though is not actually on the water. Its up a very small hill to the restaurant. The Hard Dock Cafe also has live music from time to time. If you're interested in renting a boat or cabin, Tims Ford Marina does that also.
    
     

• Tims Ford State Park 

  • Tims Ford State Park has the Lakeview Marina along with a smaller restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner with a more limited menu than the other restaurants. They do serve hand scooped ice cream though. If you go to Tims Ford State park, you can also explore the hiking trails many of which have a great view of Tim's Ford Lake. The trails are both unprepared (dirt), as well as paved trails.
    
    
    

If you're touring in the area, the last three locations are on the more eastern side of the lake which is close to the Tims Ford Dam and the Jack Daniel tour in Lynchburg TN.

Tims Ford Restaurants on the water are very enjoyable and provide a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.  Each of these restaurants is a great place to enjoy the outdoors with views of Tims Ford Lake.
